Our Story
In 2022 we decided to get a beehive. That beehive quickly became two, then three, then four - we were giving honey to our friends but never thought we would be able to sell it in bulk. Two years later, Freddie, our co-founder decided we could set up a business. We decided it should sell not only our honey (for which the demand is usually far greater than the supply) but also other beeswax products. After much experimentation over the summer holidays and trawling through hours of paperwork allowing us to sell cosmetics, Henry's Honey was reborn as a new brand selling not just the occasional jar of honey but a whole line of products.
Who is Henry?
In August 2021 our much beloved and extremely fluffy cat Henry died. Therefore, when starting up the business initially, we decided we ought to name it after him. Our drawings of him are depicted on our logo and all of our packaging. Whilst we only had him when we lived in the city, we could always imagine a cat of his curious nature frolicking in the field where we now keep our hives.
Our Products
All of our products are made from natural ingredients. The majority of our honey is sourced from our hives in Buckinghamshire, with the remainder sourced from other local beekeepers. We spent extensive time ensuring that all of our beeswax is 100% British beeswax.
